In August 2014, I discovered what healing really means as I recovered from a car accident.  For many years prior to the accident, I lived a life of “no pain, no gain.” I was a competitive athlete committed to health and wellness, with a degree in Physical Education, as well as a license in Massage Therapy. I learned to see the body as a machine. I constantly asked myself: how can we push our bodies to perform better?  But after my car accident, I realized that being a high-performing athlete and a Type A personality weren’t my priorities anymore. My body needed rest. It needed several different holistic healing modalities to resolve my chronic pain, dizziness, and shortness of breath, including: Cranial Sacral and Visceral therapies, chiropractic care, weekly massages, yoga, and physical therapy.

Having taken my well-being into my own hands, I recovered into a more peaceful state of being, emerging with more gentle and effective techniques to heal my clients, such as Cranial Sacral therapy, aromatherapy, and yoga.  My approach to massage therapy is about you. My passion is building trusting, therapeutic relationships with clients where stress, pain, and trauma are no longer a way of life. Together, we’ll create a personalized holistic healing plan where you receive my undivided, compassionate attention.

When I’m not working with clients, I love spending time in nature to rejuvenate—the beach is one of my favorite places to be! I’m also an avid swimmer, and I became a Master National Swim Champion for the Butterfly Stroke in May, 2017.
